The saw demonstrated today is not gasoline powered but runs on hydraulics. As a result there are no toxic fumes in the excavated hole. Additionally the operating noise of the hydraulic saw is significantly less than a gasoline powered engine. In my opinion, the single most important factor in considering the purchase of the hydraulic saw is safety. The reduction of toxic fumes and noise are key reasons to add this tool to our arsenal of utility equipment.

Your City employees seem to do good work and the City seems to have a lot of talented folks working for them. They deserve safe, efficient equipment to do their jobs. Without them we couldn't drink, flush, receive top notch emergency services, drive in the winter, or dispose of our garbage. Glad you take interest in their behalf.
ReplyDeleteI agree anonymous with everything you said and I hope Scott will continue to look out for their best interest and that includes giving them good benefits and wages to keep the good employees.
ReplyDeleteScott, please look out for our city employee's, they are hard working people trying to provide for their families. Many of the current council and higher ups only wish to cut employee benefits and add to their own pockets. The city stands to lose valuable people because of this. Please don't let this happen..
