CVB Board Meeting
Last Friday, February 12th, I called the CVB and left a message indicating I wanted to come to their next board meeting. I explained that I was considering running for city council and wanted to get my CVB information first hand rather than forming opinions based on what is published in the newspapers. I left my cell phone as a call back number. I did not recieve a call back and found out today that the board met last night at 6:00pm. I will try again later to reach the CVB.

You indicated you called the CVB on a Friday, before their meeting was held on Monday. It's my understanding you received a response via e-mail the week following the meeting. I know many business people in Buckhannon are eager to point fingers at the CVB, and I'm sure it helps your political agenda to join them, but perhaps, at some point in the month following this blog entry, you should have updated the public that the CVB did in fact respond to your message. Unfortunately, many organizations respond to messages in the order they were received, and not in order of perceived importance. I was curious, since you so desperately needed the CVB to return your call, why didn't you attend the March meeting to "get your information first hand"?
